The Wausau Noon Optimist Club (WNO) thanks you for considering our organization, and we look forward to having you!  The WNO Club is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization that works to improve and enrich the lives of youth in our community.  We do this through fundraising events, donation drives, and in-kind donations from our members.  One of the greatest donations we receive is time - WNO members enjoy donating their time while fellowshipping with other Club members.  

While our club is a Non-profit organization, we do charge an Optimist International initiation fee $30 and quarterly dues of $125 which support Optimist Internation dues, WINUM District dues, Monday meals and meeting location rent.  These fees are billed to you, or your organization, quarterly.  To ensure the safety of the youth we serve - prior to approving you as a member we complete a background check through C-CAP to ensure there are no child crimes or felonies that would preclude you to join our Club in accordance with our bylaws.  We, however, do NOT discriminate against anyone that is not precluded by law or our bylaws.
