What size cage are they going to be in? What bedding are you going to use? What feed do you intend to use? What cage litter do you intend to use? Do you have any other pets? Do you smoke? Do you own any snakes? (If so, what do you feed them?) What cage toys will they have? Will they have a wheel? If so, which one? Will you ensure there is a wooden house not a plastic floored igloo in their cage? If anything goes wrong at any point do you promise to come back to me for advice and help immediately? If you ever can't keep them any more do you promise to bring them back to us rather than looking for a new home for them on somewhere like 'Preloved'?

Would you like to breed from these rats at any point?
In the four weeks prior to any visit to us, will you have been (a) to any rat or mouse shows? (b) handled any pet shop rats? (c) handled anybody else's pet rats? (d) visited any other ratteries or animal shelters? or (e) had any contact with non-domestic mice or other rodents?
Are you aware we only adopt out rats in groups of 3s (unless it's a pair who are going to live with other rats). A group of 3 really is the minimum size for a group of happy rats.
Did you want Boy rats or Girl rats? Or are you open to either?
