The International SeaKeepers Society Liability Waiver

By signing at the bottom, I hereby affirm that I (the “Participant”), have permission to participate in the International SeaKeepers Society's beach/park/island cleanup on February 11th, 2025. I understand that this Activity involves the collection and handling of debris and refuse. I accept full responsibility for all medical expenses for any injuries that might occur to the Participant by reason of his/her participation.

COVID-19 RELEASE
I understand the COVID-19 guidelines provided by the CDC and hereby release The International SeaKeepers Society and Partners from any liability related to the infection and spread of the Coronavirus by signing below.

THE INTERNATIONAL SEAKEEPERS SOCIETY APPEARANCE RELEASE
By signing below, I hereby affirm that The International SeaKeepers Society and their partner may  photograph, film videotape, audiotape or otherwise record me (the “Participant”), including but not limited to the Participant’s image, voice, conversation, sounds and reactions, as well as any performance of any original musical composition(s), during or in connection with the Participant’s appearance. 

I agree that The International SeaKeepers Society, its licenses and successors and assigns shall be the exclusive owner of any title, interest or copyright of any material, including but not limited to, the results and proceeds of such photography, filming, videography and audio recording, throughout the world, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, and The International SeaKeepers Society may use all or any portion thereof or of a reproduction thereof in connection with The International SeaKeepers Society, its programs and its partners. 

I further agree that The International SeaKeepers Society may use and license others to use the Participant’s name, voice, likeness and any biographical material collected from the Participant, in any and all media including, but not limited to, the promotion, publicity, advertising, sale, or exploitation of The International SeaKeepers Society, its programs and its partners throughout the world in any form of media whatsoever, without license or restriction, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity.  I also acknowledge that the Participant’s appearance in any of the above materials, named or otherwise, will not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party.  I hereby waive any right of inspection or approval of the Participant’s appearance or the uses to which such appearance may be put. 

I confirm that I have carefully read this APPEARANCE RELEASE and agree to its terms knowingly and voluntarily. I acknowledge that if I have not reviewed this document with an attorney, then I waive my right to such a review prior to signature.  I understand that this APPEARANCE RELEASE shall be binding upon the undersigned and his/her respective heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns.  I also confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant or I am the above named Participant and I am 18 years or older as of the date signed below.
