SPECIES & MEASUREMENTS

Measurements must be taken with the measuring tape stretched, parallel to the axis of the animal and without following the curve of its body. Measurements must be taken to the nearest centimeter, e.g. 186 cm

PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

In the case of an alive cetacean: Take a photo or video of the cetacean and attach the footage below. Emphasize the head, body and movements in the water.
In the event of a dead cetacean: It is necessary in any case (even if the cetacean is in advanced decay), after its body is cleaned of algae and sand, at least the following photographs are taken:
1. Head with mouth open to show teeth
2. The entire animal photographed from the side, so that the entire lateral surface of its body is visible.
3. Genital region, located in the lower and back abdomen
