Membership Requirement

We understand that all Board Members are required to be a member in good standing with the NGA. If a Board Member is replaced, the New Board Member will join the NGA. This may include Ambassador, Associate and/or Full Memberships.

Report Communication - Annual Reports

Our group understands that in order to maintain our NGA Endorsment Status as a Responsible Adoption Group, we will submit the required Annual Reports. The annual report is due March 31st for the year prior.

Report Communication - Intakes

Our group understands that in order to maintain our NGA Endorsment Status as a Responsible Adoption Group, we will submit the required Bulk Intake Reports upon receiving greyhounds and/or quarterly, whichever is operationally more appropriate for our group.

Transfer Upon Adoption

Our group understands that in order to maintain our NGA Endorsment Status as a Responsible Adoption Group, we will encourage our adopters to transfer ownership from the racing owner into their name. We also understand that if this step is not taken, the adoption group assumes all financial and legal liability for the dog. Further, the NGA may repossess the dog at any time. If expenses are accrued for the dog's care, the group agrees to reimburse the NGA or it's affliates.
