OFW: Fall 2025 Designer Application

Designers participating in Omaha Fashion Week are selected by a panel of volunteers dedicated to nurturing the Midwest's fashion scene. In order to apply for a spot on the Omaha Fashion Week Runway, you must accept the designer participation agreement. Please read thoroughly.

1. I understand that if I am selected as a designer for OFW: Fall 2025, all garments in my collection will make their Omaha debut at OFW: Fall 2025. This means that none of the garments I am planning will have been shown at a public event in Omaha prior to OFW: Fall 2025.

2. I agree to a dropout fee of $500 if I drop out of Omaha Fashion Week after the initial press release is sent at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16th, 2025.

Marketing Info: This information will be used to help drive business for OFW designers. Please be aware that what you put in these fields will be made public. We recommend using business email/phone line rather than personal emails and cell phones if you have them available.

Please provide a website with images of your work. If you don't have one, sites such as Wix, Weebly, and Yola can help you build one for free.

If you do not provide an active website for you/your brand, you will not be eligible to participate in OFW and your application will not move forward.

This should be an account dedicated to your brand and be set to public (not a private account). If you share your personal instagram with your brand, you may want to consider making a separate one for those who will search for your brand.

For Omaha FASHION Magazine, press releases and other OFW promo materials, provide some background and info about yourself that will intrigue the audience and make them search for you.

Do you see yourself as an Emerging Designer or Featured Designer?

Emerging Designers are either brand new to the OFW runway, student designers, or veteran designers trying out a completely new method of creation. Designers in this track are working to build their portfolio, develop new concepts and hone their runway presentation.

Featured Designers are working to get their name out there and build their brand. They come in all forms and the Selection Panel expects a clear design concept and incredibly high quality of work and thought in their application process. Omaha Fashion Week reserves the right to place designers in to the track that they feel each designer would excel in.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: I agree my participation in Omaha Fashion Week, produced by Omaha Fashion Week, is entirely voluntary. I understand that participation in Omaha Fashion Week involves a risk of injury due to certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries, such as, but not limited to, the following: contact with other individuals during runway shows, rehearsals, workshops and rack check; contact with the floor, walls, or production equipment backstage which are part of the production; and transport to and from Omaha Fashion Week activities. The specific risks vary from (1) minor injuries such as scratches, bruises and sprains, to (2) major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions, to (3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death. I understand that if I have questions about possible hazards, it is my responsibility to seek additional information from Omaha Fashion Week staff prior to signing this Form. I also understand that, despite safety precautions, neither the Omaha Fashion Week management, staff, volunteers, designers, stylists, or sponsors can guarantee I will not be injured. I am willing to assume these risks. To minimize the risk, I will obey all the rules, regulations and instructions of Omaha Fashion Week.

PHOTO RELEASE: I give permission for photographs taken of me while participating in Omaha Fashion Week and related events to be used in marketing/public relations material in the promotion of Omaha Fashion Week.
