Gateway Family Services of Illinois and Hooves of Hope, two separate non-profits located in Potomac, Illinois, share the property and horses. The herd is a critical part of both non-profits, and both agencies partner together to bring Christmas in the Barn, a magical Christmas experience to raise funds to support both programs.

Our 2025 experience is unlike anything we have ever done before and we are grateful for your willingness to help make it a magical experience for all who attend! Please select the dates that work for you to volunteer--each day has some items that will be the focus of that work day.

Please be warned, while working at the barn you will encounter many people filled with Christmas spirit who might sing Christmas songs and spread Christmas cheer!
