About the football trials
We will be forming six new teams at under 7s and under 8s age groups for the season starting in September 2025. We offer opportunities for boys and girls.
If the player is 6 years old as at 31st August 2025 then they will be eligible to join an Under 7s team. (If they are 5 years old at at 31st August 2025, but turn 6 before 30 Nov 2025, then they can still join, but will not be able to play in matches until they turn 6.)
If the player is 7 years old as at 31st August 2025 then they will be eligible to join an Under 8s team
About Playing in a team at Carshalton Athletic
Teams play once a week on Saturdays or Sundays and train once a week on a weekday early evening usually starting at 5.00pm or 5.30pm, but training times may vary.
Annual subscriptions, that include weekly training and matches work out to between £11 and £12 per week for the season.
Annual subscriptions are payable annually in advance

Trials will be held at the main Carshalton Athletic Stadium. SM5 2PW
Players must wear shin pads and long football socks to take part, players arriving without shin pads and long football socks will not be able to take part.
Players should wear football kit suitable for the weather.
Trials will be held on a 3G pitch, so rain will not prevent the trials from going ahead.
Upon arrival, enter the ground via the turnstiles to be registered
Question and Answer session
After the trials the Chairman of Carshalton Athletic Juniors will make a brief presentation and answer questions
Attendance
The Parent/Guardian should remain at the trial and supervise their child until the trials are complete
Conduct
This is children's football for the benefit and enjoyment of the young players.
We are unable to register children who's parents jeopardise this through thier conduct.
During trials parents must not coach or in any way distract the players. Please let them play and dont put them under pressure.
