Want to represent Edison State and be the face of our College? The Edison State Marketing Department is looking for confident and outgoing students to become Edison State Brand Representatives!

What’s the role of a Brand Representative?
As an Edison State Brand Representative, you'll have the exciting opportunity to participate in photo and video shoots throughout the semester. Your photos and videos will be featured in a variety of Edison State marketing materials, from billboards and our viewbook to social media, the website, and other print and digital ads. It’s a great way to build your personal brand, gain valuable experience for your resume, and connect with others across campus.

Get ready for an exciting and fun experience! Photo and video shoots are scheduled each semester, taking place at various locations across the Edison State campus. You’ll have the chance to meet new people, interact with fellow students, and have a blast while our talented photo and video team captures a mix of candid and posed shots that show off the real energy of campus life. We prefer students who are comfortable in front of the camera and encourage you to be yourself. Whether speaking in a video or just having fun, it's all about showcasing your authentic self and what makes Edison State great – people like you!

What Happens After You Sign Up?
Once you sign up, you may not be called right away, but don’t worry – we have multiple shoots throughout the year, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved! When we reach out, just let us know your availability, and we’ll coordinate the perfect time for you to join in. Plus, we may invite you to bring friends to the shoot – the more, the merrier. We will provide you with merch to wear as well!

Media Release and Consent

Please read the following carefully.

I hereby consent and authorize an employee or agent of Edison State Community College to take photographs, videos, publish direct quotes, or capture any other digital assets that include my name, voice, and/or image ("materials").

I authorize Edison State Community College to copyright the materials and use, reuse, copy, publish, display, exhibit, reproduce, license to a third party, and distribute the materials in any educational or promotional materials or other forms of media. These may include, but are not limited to, the College website(s), publications, catalogs, articles, magazines, recruiting brochures, and newsletters—digital or otherwise—without notifying me.

I also agree that Edison State Community College may identify me by name, course of study, and other identifying information, such as class year, graduation date, and hometown.

I understand that this authorization is granted in perpetuity, and I waive any right to inspect or approve any finished media containing my likeness. I release and discharge Edison State Community College, its employees, representatives, and any third parties acting under its permission from any claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise related to the use of these materials, including but not limited to claims for libel, invasion of privacy, or misrepresentation.

I further understand that Edison State Community College is not obligated to use the materials and that they may be edited, modified, or not used at all.

I agree that I am participating voluntarily and that I will not receive any form of payment from Edison State Community College for signing this release or as a result of any publication or use of materials.

Revocation Clause: I understand that I may revoke this consent at any time by providing written notice to Edison State Community College, but that such revocation will not affect any materials already published or in production prior to receipt of my notice.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

I have read and understand the above consent and release form. I affirm that I am at least 18 years of age.
