Scheduling

Per instructions from Larry Gluck, Founder of Mission: Renaissance and Art Time Classes, we maintain a low student to instructor ratio in order to ensure that each student receives abundant attention in every class.

You may select any class time providing there is space available.  Once chosen, this will remain your regular class time each week.  This regular class time cannot be changed without the Program Director's approval.  Your space in the class is not considered reserved until tuition is paid.

Promptness

Please be on time for class.  Late arrivals disturb other students.  Oil painting students are encouraged to arrive fifteen minutes early to set up, providing more of the class time for instruction.

Courtesy Classes

In the event that you miss your regular class, you may receive a courtesy class.  The following courtesy class policies are designed to accommodate students as well as not overbook the classes and are strictly enforced.

1.    A courtesy class is awarded if you miss your regular for any reason. We ask that you cancel in advance if you know you will not be able to attend your regular class time as this may provide an opportunity for other students to attend their Courtesy Classes.

2.    Courtesy classes may only be scheduled within a month in which your Class Membership is paid.

3.    Courtesy classes are scheduled in addition to, not in place of, your regular scheduled class.

4.    Courtesy classes cannot be credited toward account balances, Membership fees nor substituted for regular classes.

5.    Once scheduled, a courtesy class cannot be rescheduled. If you fail to attend a scheduled Courtesy Class, that class is forfeited.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "By signing this Enrollment Agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID- 19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child or I could be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and by attending classes that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. Further, I acknowledge and assume the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 in the classes that may be the result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. I voluntarily agree to assume all the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself or my child (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that my child or I may experience or incur in connection with attendance in classes (“Claims”).

On my behalf, and on behalf of my child, I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless Fine Art Classes, Inc., its employees, affiliates, agents, owners, heirs and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Fine Art Classes, Inc. its employees, affiliates, agents, owners and/or representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any class activities."
